Assurance of Salvation

The fact that I can know NOW that I have Salvation in Christ brings a peace that the world itself can't give. I don't have to go through life wondering weather or not I have done everything I need to do so that I may have eternal life in heaven. I can rest in Christ, in peace knowing that soon, one day, in the blink of an eye, I will be resting in the arms of the father, never leaving His presence. What a joyous feeling it is, so much so that my words lack the ability to show my thankfulness! I wish for the world to know how great it is and and great it could be for them as well (if they don't yet know it).

Romans 8:16-17  The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.  (17)  And if we are children, then we are heirs; heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ; so that if we suffer with Him, we may also be glorified together.

1 John 5:13  I have written these things to you who believe on the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have everlasting life, and that you may believe on the name of the Son of God.

2 Corinthians 5:1  For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

2 Corinthians 6:2  (For He says, "In an acceptable time I heard you, and in a day of salvation, I helped you;" Behold, now is the accepted time. Behold, now is the day of salvation.)
